WAREHOUSE SHIPPING ASSOCIATE - 1ST SHIFT

 

Metal-Fab is seeking warehouse shipping associates for 1st shift

 

Duties Include:


  • Operate a forklift
  • Change forklift propane tanks
  • Perform basic forklift preventative maintenance
  • Accurately place and retrieve inventory goods
  • Order pulling/picking
  • Load and unload material and product
  • Operate scanning equipment
  • Perform inventory stock counts

 

Job Location:


  • This position is located in southwest Wichita.
  • 1st shift hours 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 

Requirements:


  • High school diploma/GED or warehouse experience
  • Available to work daily and/or weekend overtime
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to accurately perform basic math
  • Ability to operate scanning equipment and use measuring devices
  • Ability to work with and get along with other employees
  • Dependable and punctual

TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

Job Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Full Time

Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for sales in a defined region of the United States.

 

Duties:

  • Assists field reps in account strategy
  • Achieves sales quotas
  • Active management of all aspects of customer relations and revenue growth
  • Collaborates effectively with established field reps
  • Evaluates underperforming agencies and determine best path forward
  • Stays current on new product developments
  • Maximizes business potential in the territory
  • Achieves ultimate customer satisfaction

 

Job Requirements:

  • Business degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of sales and management experience
  • Strong sales presentation skills
  • Prior experience with manufacturers reps desired
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards for products
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Product development experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Dependable
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Up to 40 percent travel
  • The successful candidate must reside or be able to relocate to the Wichita area

MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR - 2ND SHIFT

 

Duties Include:

 

  • Regular, in-person attendance at the Company’s facilities
  • Direct supervision and coordination of production personnel
  • Daily oversight of production personnel in multiple work areas
  • Establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences
  • Analyzing charts, work orders, and production schedules to determine production requirements
  • Ensuring product is produced to internal standards in a safe and efficient manner
  • Management of employee relations issues
  • Facilitating cross-training and on-the-job training of production personnel

 

Job Location:

The position is located at 3025 W. May Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67213

 

This is an exempt position, normal schedule is Monday – Friday 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m..; must be able to work outside of the schedule due to business demands.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work daily and weekend overtime as required by business demands
  • Blue print reading skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  • Math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Ability to multi-task and be a team player
  • Open to change and dealing with constantly changing priorities
